Investigators believe a driver who allegedly caused a head-on crash in eastern Minnesota that led to the death of one child and injured four more was "coming off of a high from methamphetamine," according to charges filed Tuesday.
The crash happened at approximately 6:18 p.m. Friday on Rush Lake Trail south of Belle Isle Drive in Nessel Township, according to the Chisago County Sheriff's Office.
