Authorities said the rider died at the scene, and the truck's driver was uninjured.
According to the Dallas County Sheriff's Office, the incident happened at about 12:45 a.m. at I-35 and Inwood Road.
One motorcyclist died at the scene and two other motorcyclists were taken to the hospital.
The sheriff's office said Detention Service Officer Dakendrick Traylor was involved in an off-duty motorcycle accident this week and was killed.
