Wylie PD said an investigation was launched after officers were called to The Cross Church when staff noticed that the mailbox in the parking lot had been pried open.
All four have been charged with injury to a child and abandoning and endangering a child, police said.
When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they said the 11-year-old boy was unconscious.
