Chief Justin McIntire was killed in the line of duty on Jan. 2, 2023.
In the two years since his killing, the community has continued to remember and honor the life of their fallen hero.
The switches are devices that convert handguns into homemade machine guns, capable of firing up to 1,200 rounds per minute.
The Keystone Award is given to first responders who are killed or suffer a career-ending injury in the line of duty.
Their names were real aloud during a candlelight vigil on the National Mall in Washington, D.C. on Monday evening.
Fallen Brackenridge Police Chief Justin McIntire and Officer Sean Sluganski of the McKeesport Police Department were officially added to the Borough and Township Memorial in South Park on Friday.
Their names will be engraved during a candlelight vigil along the National Mall on May 13.

Several events are taking place this week to honor McIntire's life.
From multiple police officers killed in the line of duty, the East Palestine fiery train derailment, the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting trial, and a deadly house explosion in Plum Borough, it's been a year full of headlines.
The event was held to help raise money for the Chief Justin McIntire Memorial Foundation.
Tributes for fallen police officer Justin McIntire continue to pour in, and on Sunday, a memorial bike ride was held for the officer.
The new consolidated departments will be based out of Tarentum and will have 13 officers.
The new department will be the Tarentum Borough Police Department helping Brackenridge.
The McIntire family's mortgage is among more than 30 that the foundation says it has paid off for fallen first responders and military members for Independence Day.
