Virginia Giuffre sued the prince in August, saying she was coerced into sexual encounters with the prince in 2001 by Epstein and his longtime companion, Ghislaine Maxwell.
The deal between Epstein and Virginia Roberts, now known as Virginia Giuffre, contained a paragraph that said it protects anyone "who could have been included as a potential defendant" from being sued by Giuffre.
Prosecutors argued Maxwell was Jeffrey Epstein's "right hand," who recruited and groomed teenagers to give Epstein massages for money, which they allege turned into sexual abuse.
The pressure is on as the judge said an astronomical spike of COVID-19 cases in the area could derail proceedings.
Monday, the jury requested some trial transcripts. They also asked for the definition of "enticement."
