She had been last seen in Hamlin, about 40 miles northwest of Abilene, at 4 p.m. on April 30.
In April 2024, Waid Robinson, 22, went missing after a single-vehicle crash on Highway 80 near FM 46.
The remains were found near a water-filled creek along FM 167 (Temple Hall Highway).
The 15-year-old girl has been safely located, authorities say.
"The first thing she told me was that she was scared, she was scared," the mother told CBS News Texas.
