It happened around 11:30 p.m. Monday on Linden Boulevard near 194th Street in St. Albans.
Police said the 33-year-old was shot in the chest outside the bar after an argument.
Five firefighters and two civilians were taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.
The city is on pace for the highest number of shootings at this point in the year in a decade.
Police say an 8-year-old boy was shot in the torso and was taken to a local hospital in serious condition.
