Quarterback Michael Busch says his team finally gets to feel like the wrestlers. "They're always in the state, competition for a state championship, and we got the opportunity and it's like the atmosphere of wrestling season," Busch said.
Will Rains ran for a 75-yard touchdown with 2:46 to play and Eden Prairie rallied to win its fourth straight Class 6A title with a 28-27 victory over Totino-Grace Friday night. It's the school's 10th title since 1996. The Eagles have won 30 games in a row.
