Witnesses said it took officers 20 minutes to respond to the street takeover. By the time police arrived the sideshow was mostly over.
Deputies reported that the shooting occurred a little after 1:15 p.m. outside of the Black and Blue Restaurant, which also operates as a nightclub.
According to Beverly Hills Police Department, officers were first called to the scene at a home on Park Way at around 8 p.m. They surrounded the home for hours, finally calling the investigation off at 4 a.m. after the suspect could not be located.
