Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker was among those with ties to the host state preparing to speak on the second night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
After an electric first night at the Democratic National Convention, more party leaders will take the stage on Day 2, including Gov. JB Pritzker, former President Barack Obama, and former First Lady Michelle Obama.
"My wife's not here, and I don't want anybody talking to her about this, but she is my term limit, so if all of you want to talk to her, and convince her one way or another by the way, you're welcome to do that," Pritzker told delegates on the first day of the DNC.

Pritzker signed the law, HB4623, on Friday of last week. It takes effect Jan. 1.
