Many of the names mentioned as possible vice president picks for presumptive Democratic nominee Kamala Harris come from battleground states. But while making the Sunday talk show circuit, Gov. JB Pritzker stressed that is not the only factor.

"I will say that I have said directly to the vice president that I'm going to do everything and anything that is necessary to make sure that we beat Donald Trump and JD Vance," Pritzker said.
Pritzker has endorsed Harris to be the new Democratic nominee for the White House after President Biden dropped out of the race and endorsed Harris on Sunday. Pritzker has yet to say if he would be interested in filling a vice presidential role on the 2024 Democratic presidential ticket.
