Hundreds of Chicago firefighters lined the procession route ahead of the funeral for Lt. Jan Tchoryk, and Chicago police bagpipers played "Balmoral," a traditional funeral tune as his casket made its way from the funeral home to St. Joseph Ukrainian Church. CBS 2's Kris Habermehl has more on the somber procession.

Mourners will pay their last respects to fallen Chicago Fire Department Lt. Jan Tchoryk on Thursday, at a funeral on the Northwest Side, after he died while battling a high-rise fire last week.
Tchoryk, 55, collapsed in the stairwell, at 1212 N. Lake Shore Dr., on April 5 while leading his crew on their way to the 27th floor, where the fire started.
His funeral will be held Thursday morning, which CBS 2 will carry live on our digital streaming network beginning at 9:30 a.m.
