According to DPD, at about 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to a shooting call in the 8000 block of West Virginia Drive.
The victim climbed over a concrete barrier into the express lanes of SH 183 near Belt Line Road in Irving.
According to the sheriff's office, the incident happened at about 4:45 a.m. in the area of I-30 and Sylvan Avenue.
