One person was found dead after a Saturday night house fire in Dallas that took firefighters nearly an hour to put out, officials said.
Officials said that homes on both sides of the fire were damaged.
Winds could reach up to 40 mph in some parts of North Texas.
According to Dallas Fire-Rescue, at about 6:20 a.m., crews were called to a structure fire at a home in the 10300 block of Eastwood Drive.
There were no injuries reported from the families or firefighters.
A two-alarm fire broke out at what was S.S. Dillow Elementary School in Fort Worth. No injuries were reported.
