Just after 4 a.m., officers were called to the reported incident at 700 W. Risinger Road.
The vehicle involved in the crash has been recovered and is being held as evidence.
Police said further details about the investigation cannot be shared as it is ongoing.
The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. near Vintage Boulevard, leading to the closure of the northbound lanes.
