San Francisco has hit the midway point in their season and with a 6-2 record, they have to be happy with the overall play of the team. They have gotten a positive contribution from just about every member of the roster, and the only real gripes have to be a questionable offensive game plan to start the season and a free agent pick up that has not lived up to expectations.
While his stats don't jump out at you, and with the 49er passing offense ranked 31st of 32 teams one would not think that Colin Kaepernick is having a great season. However, a look inside the numbers show that Colin Kaepernick is not only having a good season, but the past few weeks has played better than any other player at the position, ever.
