A near capacity crowd blasted the troubled Bronx Bomber with boos, but those boos were soon muffled by cheers from fans who rose to their feet as Rodriguez stepped up to the plate, CBS 2's Hazel Sanchez reported.
It's more than acceptable to dislike Rodriguez, but acting as if his punishment and process should be different than that of any other player because of his paycheck, accolades or insecure personality is ridiculous.
"In a pennant race, he's a guy that you don't want in the lineup," Longoria said. "So looking at it from that perspective and that perspective only, I don't think it's fair that we can't have an arbitrator hear the case sooner."
