CBS 2's Shardaa Gray reports, Plainfield resident Christine Todd is in urgent need of a living kidney donor. Her kidneys are failing due to polycystic kidney disease. She's hoping to find that person at Guaranteed Rate Field.

Police said the girl ran away after the car she was in was hit by another car on Illinois Route 59.
CBS 2's Mugo Odigwe reported from the Mobile Weather Lab on Route 59 in Plainfield where roadways are covered in snow.
"He was targeted because of his faith, because he was Muslim, and that is something we must confront as a society. Islamophobia and hatred towards Muslims and Palestinians has no place in our community," Wadee Alfayoumi's father said.

While hearts were heavy, the Plainfield community continued to wrap its arms around the grieving family.

Prosecutors said Joseph Czuba, 71, wanted the victims to move out of the home they rented from him, and believed he and his wife "were in danger," because he feared the woman he stabbed "was going to call over her Palestinian friends or family to harm them."
According to the Will County Sheriff's Office, the two victims were targeted because they are Muslim and because of the ongoing Middle Eastern conflict involving Hamas and Israel.
Joseph Czuba has been charged with one count each of first-degree murder, attempted murder, and aggravated battery, and two counts of hate crime.
