Students delivered a petition with almost 1,500 signatures on it, all calling for the reinstatement of adjunct professor Anne D’Aquino. CBS 2’s Sabrina Franza reports.

The university is withholding degrees due to a disciplinary process, which is in action because the students "may have been involved" in the pro-Palestinian protest encampment on the Quad.
An investigation has been launched, and the results will be made public in the coming weeks.
The optional assignment asked for scientific analysis and critical thinking to understand "the impacts of genocide on human biology."
Demonstrators were inside the building for some time before the University of Chicago police cleared it out.
Chicago police said a man and woman were arrested outside the encampment for obstruction of traffic.
The U.S. military says it's installed the temporary pier that will be used to bring humanitarian aid into Gaza, and trucks carrying the aid should begin "moving ashore in the coming days."
While students at DePaul held a moment of silence, faculty at the University of Chicago held a teach-in of the Nakba.

Chicago Police were on high alert as the two sides met in the heart of the Loop Tuesday, using the event as a dry run for what is expected to be an even more heated Democratic National Convention this summer.
On Saturday night, protesters at the encampment said they said they were at a stalemate with the university. They have since said they are anticipating a raid.
Israel's battle against Hamas has forced nearly 360,000 people to flee from a city they were told only months ago to seek refuge in.
The encampment, termed the DePaul Liberation Zone, began on Tuesday of last week.
