A fire damaged a church and knocked out power to about 130,000 ComEd customers Monday morning in west suburban Downers Grove.
It stands 16 feet high and is made up of 18 panels and thousands of individual pieces of glass. The stained glass window depicts two angels at the bottom of a Colorado mountain, and it has been at the church since 1902.

The changes immediately open new doors for LGBTQ members — but over a quarter of U.S. congregations have already left the UMC, and more could follow.

The church was the vision of Catalan architect Antonio Gaudi who took over construction in the 1880s and died in 1926.
"Of course, we're devastated. We don't understand why these things happen," Joel Osteen said.
Several messages were spray-painted on the church.
City records show the building failed an inspection on Nov. 20 of last year. Inspectors noted three violations.
