According to the department, at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to a shooting in the 2100 block of Pecan Creek Drive.
Officers were called to the Dallas Regional Medical Center for an "unclothed" man who had been brought to the hospital, but got into an ambulance and left.
Counselors were called to campus and made available for students and staff needing support.
