Expect a properly chilly day across the area with just a little bit of sunshine.
After a bright start to Sunday the clouds have thickened and we'll have a quick-hitting round of rain in the evening.
You'll want to make sure you're dressed to stay warm and dry as you head out the door Monday.
It was another warm and muggy fall day across the region, but we did get some breaks of sun.
As expected, Sunday was a much warmer finish to the weekend, with plenty of folks around the area seeing 80 degrees.
It'll feel more like the heart of autumn, with temperatures in the 30s and 40s to start the day under clear skies.
Temps will jump nicely in the afternoon into the upper 50s and low 60s under crystal blue skies, perhaps a perfect day to do some fall activities outdoors!
There will be a little bit more in the way of humidity, but it won't be quite at the uncomfortable level. Outdoor plans are looking good, from the beach to the barbecue!
Despite gray and cool conditions to start off Monday, sunshine will return during the morning.
Tomorrow will start off with some areas of dense fog once again, but that'll burn off rapidly as sunshine will lead us to a high right around 90 degrees.
We hope everybody stayed cool Sunday, because it was HOT, HOT, HOT!
Expect mostly cloudy skies with about a 10-20% risk. Otherwise, it'll be muggy and mild with a low in the mid 70s here in town and in the upper 60s for the outlying suburbs.

If you absolutely have to head out Monday, be warned: a very powerful storm will affect the region. It will bring with it torrential rain, thunderstorms, and potentially destructive winds.
