Singer Demi Lovato came out as nonbinary Wednesday and said they are changing their pronouns to they/them.
"I have always been transparent about my journey with addiction. What I've learned is that this illness is not something that disappears or fades with time. It is something I must continue to overcome and have not done yet," Lovato said in an Instagram statement.
Demi Lovato is reportedly expected to leave Cedars-Sinai Medical Center sometime this week.
Singer and actress Demi Lovato has reportedly been hospitalized for an apparent heroin overdose.
Lovato was not home at the time.
