Police say a 42-year-old woman whose vehicle broke down on I-96 in Detroit suffered a terrifying ordeal when an unknown man tried to rob her, dragging her out of her car on the side of the freeway.
The chase started in Ingham County and ended when the driver lost control of the stolen vehicle on an exit ramp at M-59 in Howell.
Detectives have not been able to interview the victim due to his medical condition.
Authorities say a man was lucky to walk away with only minor injuries after his vehicle became stuck underneath a semi-truck during a crash on I-96.

One person was killed and three more were injured in the accident early Sunday morning.
