The shooting happened just after midnight in the 5000 block of West Gladys Avenue.
Two women, both 22, were shot and critically wounded on a sidewalk in Austin early Wednesday morning.
Litzy Rodriguez, 19, was arrested just after 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the 1600 block of North McVicker Avenue.
Police said the two were at a gas station at the corner of Fulton Street and Sacramento Boulevard around 10:45 a.m., when a sedan pulled up, and a man got out and started shooting.
An officer was struck in his bullet-proof vest, and a second officer suffered injuries to his face from glass.
The smoke can be seen for miles from the fire in the 1900 block of North Austin Avenue.
No one was in custody late Friday in the shooting on Chicago Avenue in South Austin.
Police said the teen was joyriding when he ignored a traffic light and struck a white pickup truck containing a family.

Two women and a man were taken to Rush Hospital. Another woman was taken to Stroger Hospital.
