CPD officer wounded, suspect killed during shootout in Humboldt Park
Police Supt. Larry Snelling said around 6 p.m., officers pulled over a vehicle in the 3800 block of West Ferdinand Street, off Avers Avenue in the Humboldt Park neighborhood. One man was in the car, and there was an exchange of gunfire between him and the officers.
