Fire officials said around 9:43 a.m., crews responded to the crash at Emricson Park's Dream Field, at 900 W. South St.
Isaiah Gracia, 19, of Schererville, is facing charges including operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driving while suspended prior to conviction, reckless driving, and minor in consumption of alcohol.
Fire officials said crews arrived just before 4:30 a.m. to a call about a car that had crashed into a residence in the 900 block of Balsam Lane.
