During the robbery, one of the men smashed display cases and took unspecified property. A robber also demanded property from a woman in the store.
In each incident, the men targeted businesses where they displayed a gun and demanded access to the cash register and the safe.

Police said the 61-year-old man was walking near La Salle and Washington streets around 2:45 a.m., when four people got out of a dark car and attacked him.
The robberies happened in Brighton Park, Back of the Yard, Gage Park, Chicago Lawn, and Garfield Ridge neighborhoods.
