A family from Massachusetts who had been trapped in Gaza for almost a month made it across the border safely into Egypt Thursday.
Hundreds of people trapped in war-torn Gaza were allowed to leave Wednesday and cross the border into Egypt, but a family from Massachusetts was not among them.
While the first foreign nationals were allowed to leave Gaza and head into Egypt, American citizens still remain in the warzone. That includes the Okal family from Medway.
