Reed shot 66-68 in the first two rounds and then hung on over the weekend at Bethpage Black in Farmingdale, New York, to earn $1.53 million for the win. Defending champion and No. 1-ranked Jason Day finished in fourth place, two strokes behind Reed, while Jordan Spieth finished in a tie for 10th place.
