Friends of Planck posted flyers in Downtown LA around the corner of 12th and Hope Street after Planck's dog was found wandering through the halls on the 28th floor of an apartment building nearby.
Police Thursday were searching for a missing 39-year-old Heidi Planck who was last seen in the Downey area.
The officer was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
Darwin Dantzler, 39, was arrested Wednesday, but has since been released after posting $50,000 bail. According to Los Angeles County sheriff's jail records, he is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 12, 2022.
The crash happened at about 4:50 a.m. on Firestone Boulevard and Newville Avenue, not far from the 605 Freeway.
Military ordnance and propellant powders were found at the Downey home.
