It comes after President Trump reviewed terms for a potential peace deal between Russia and Ukraine.
President Trump's deadline for Russia to reach a ceasefire deal with Ukraine or face economic consequences also arrived on Friday, but the White House has yet to announce any new financial penalties.
Ukraine has been pushing to be included in any conversations about bringing the war to an end.
The meeting follows one Sunday between Trump and Ursula von der Leyen, president of the European Commission, when they announced a trade deal between the U.S. and the EU.
President Trump said Monday that the U.S. will impose 100% tariffs on countries that do business with Russia if there is no peace deal to end the war in Ukraine within 50 days.
"We are very unhappy, I am, with Russia," President Trump said while in a meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
