The 36-year-old man was trying to break into a home in the 7800 block of South South Shore Drive about 4 a.m. when a 54-year-old man who lives in the home shot him in the arm, according to Chicago Police.
The male, whose age was not immediately known, was shot in the arm about 4:40 a.m. in the 7800 block of South South Shore Drive, according to Chicago Police.
Most recently, a man was shot to death in the South Side Englewood neighborhood, police said. The 31-year-old was standing outside with a group of people in the 7000 block of South Morgan about 11:30 p.m. when several males walked up and someone opened fire.
