The most recent fatal shooting happened Sunday night in Rogers Park. Two men were shot in the 7400 block of North Ridge. One was shot in the abdomen and the leg. He was taken to Saint Francis Hospital, where he died. The other man was shot in the leg and taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
Luis Gonzalez, 33, of the 5500 block of South Kolin, was charged Monday with one count of aggravated battery with a firearm, reckless discharge of a firearm and vehicular invasion.
