1-year-old girl identified after being found with injuries on Far North Side
A 1-year-old girl died after being found with injuries on the city's Far North Side on Saturday morning.
CPD said around 11:40 a.m., the baby girl was found unresponsive in the 2600 block of West Rosemont Avenue in West Ridge, with visible injuries to her lower body.
She was taken to St. Francis Hospital in critical condition and later died.
The child was identified as 1-year-old Maombi Joyeuse.
Area 3 detectives are investigating.
