1-year-old girl dies after being found with injuries on Far North Side, police say
A 1-year-old girl died after being found with injuries on the city's Far North Side on Saturday morning.
CPD said around 11:40 a.m., the baby girl was found unresponsive in the 2600 block of West Rosemont Avenue in West Ridge, with visible injuries to her lower body.
She was taken to St. Francis Hospital in critical condition and later died.
Area 3 detectives are investigating.
