A man sexually assaulted a woman Tuesday afternoon after breaking into her apartment in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.
The man walked out of an alley in the 3300 block of West 25th Street around 3:30 a.m., and followed the victim for a block, before forcing her into an alley, where he sexually assaulted her while armed with a knife, according to a community alert from Chicago police.
Latoya Frost, 32, was arrested early Saturday after she sexually assaulted a 6-year-old girl and forced her to perform several sex acts, according to Cook County prosecutors. Frost had locked the first-floor bedroom door and lodged a chair under the doorknob so nobody could get inside.
Sometime between Sept. 24 and Oct. 7, the girl was leaving the store about 4 p.m. when a masked male grabbed her from behind and pulled her into an alley in the 700 block of North Lawndale Avenue, according to an alert from Chicago Police. He then sexually assaulted her for roughly 20 minutes before running off toward Ridgeway Avenue.
