The woman was struck by a turning truck in the 1100 block of North LaSalle Street at 11:55 a.m., according to Chicago Police.
Police responded about 11:30 p.m. to the 9300 block of South LaSalle Street, where they found 31-year-old Erskin Palm on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds to the chest, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.
Most recently, a 23-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the 12700 block of South Parnell Avenue at about 10:30 p.m. when a man got out of a dark colored car and fired shots, police said.
