Those were impressive rain-makers this afternoon some even contained small hail.
And the trend continues to get better with even a little more sunshine today and slightly warmer temperatures because of it.
I wish it were as easy as flipping a switch but improvements will be slow to come by over the next few days...they are coming though!

Well I certainly wasn't expecting a washout today but a rogue low came closer to New England than expected and soaked us with over a half an inch of rain in spots. That same low is now sliding north and east into the Gulf of Maine and rain will continue to diminish to drizzle as we go through the course of the night.
