Police say a 17-year-old man opened the car door of a parked Honda Civic. They also say he had a gun which he pointed at the two people inside the car.
The crime took place on Jan. 2.
Police say if you see the suspects, don't approach them -- call 911 immediately.
The carjacking happened at a shopping complex on Roberts Avenue.
They say the victim was sitting in a car waiting for family members to come out of the store when she was targeted.
There was a more than fivefold increase in the number of carjackings in the city from 2019 to 2022. Wakisha Bailey reports.
