A funeral was held Friday for 9-year-old Evelyn Dieckhaus, one of three children and three adults killed in Monday's school shooting in Nashville.
"I think we have a shooter at our church," one caller said, later adding: "I'm on the second floor in a room. I think the shooter is on the second floor."
Police have said that the shooter was extremely prepared for the killings, but no motive has been determined.
"Our police officers have cried and are crying with Nashville and the world," police chief John Drake said at the vigil.
A motive for the shooting that killed six people, including three children, remains unknown.
The shooter has been identified as a 28-year-old from Nashville, authorities said.
The assailant had been receiving treatment for an "emotional disorder," Nashville's police chief said.
"We strongly believe there was going to be some other targets, including maybe family members, and one of the malls here in Nashville," said Nashville Police Chief John Drake.
Authorities identified the six victims as Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs and William Kinney, all 9 years old, and 61-year-old Cynthia Peak, Katherine Koonce, 60, and 61-year-old Mike Hill.
Three 9-year-old students and three staffers were killed in the rampage at The Covenant School, a private Christian grade school. Police say they shot and killed the shooter.
