Sky2 was over the scene of a fatal multi-vehicle crash on the 118 Freeway near Woodley Avenue in Granada Hills, where one person was killed and two others were injured.
At least one person suffered fatal injuries in a multi-car crash on the 118 Freeway in Porter Ranch just after 11:30 p.m. Thursday evening. Several others, including children, are said to have sustained injuries as well.
A Major Emergency brushfire in Chatsworth prompted over 140 ground units and three water-dropping helicopters Sunday afternoon. Crews were able to contain the forward progress of the flames after it had engulfed just over seven acres of brush.
Investigators now believe that the fires were set by a group of people lighting fireworks out of the back of their van as they traveled eastbound along the 118 Freeway Friday evening. Joy Benedict was live with the update.
