A man was shot to death Tuesday night in the Burnside neighborhood on the South Side. The 23-year-old man was exiting a vehicle in the 9000 block of South Greenwood at 9:03 p.m. when the driver fired at him before driving away, Chicago Police said.
At 6 p.m., the 40-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the 300 block of East 58th Street when someone fired shots, police said.
The latest homicide happened Sunday morning in the South Side Englewood neighborhood. Officers found 26-year-old Andre D. Donner Jr. with a gunshot wound to the head about 10 a.m. in the 7200 block of South May, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.
