The fatal shooting happened about 10:35 a.m. in the West Garfield Park neighborhood. Lee M. Fields, 33, was found in the 4400 block of West Monroe Street with two gunshot wounds to the lower abdomen, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.
