The shooting happened in the 1800 block of North Monitor Avenue about 2:45 p.m., police said. The victims, a 19-year-old man and boy whose age wasn't immediately available as of 11 p.m., were taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park by family members.
About 3:10 p.m., the two — ages 21 and 22 — were shot near the intersection of Chicago and Christiana avenues, police said.
