Phil Donahue, a celebrated daytime talk show host who pioneered the television staple, died after a long illness, his publicist said in a statement.
Donahue died Sunday at the age of 88 after a long illness. Lauren Victory looks back at his career and his time in Chicago, including a period of time during which he taped his show at the old CBS Chicago studios.
