The 36-year-old man accused of killing his three young children pleaded "guilty but mentally ill." Jason Karels was charged with three counts of first-degree murder for the 2022 drowning deaths of children ages 2, 3, and 5.
Two cousins who have been incarcerated for more than 40 years were expected to be freed after a judge exonerated them on Thursday for two 1981 murders.
