The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, identified as a 35-year-old man, died from his injuries.
The driver of the struck vehicle later died at the hospital. Their passenger, only described as a juvenile, suffered serious injuries.
Police said a car traveling on Southwest Highway hit another vehicle traveling on Cicero Avenue, sending the second vehicle into a vacant storefront.
The victim, identified as Austin Stanek, 24, of Island Lake, Illinois, was taken to Advocate Good Shepard Hospital in Barrington, where he died.
