A 19-year-old was found dead after a shooting and crash on Chicago's South Side. The teen was driving a Chevy Malibu in the 800 block of West Garfield Boulevard when someone inside a silver SUV fired shots, police said.
Police said the motorcyclist was transferred from Ascension St Joseph Medical Center to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois, for further treatment.
Officer Tangie Brown has been charged with driving drunk when she struck and killed Maria Schwab, of Texas, outside the House of Blues.
"One of his dogs traveled the nearly four miles to their camp, which alerted the rest of the party that something was wrong," police said.

The 4-year-old, who was in a booster seat, was taken to Vista Medical Center East with critical, life-threatening injuries and was pronounced dead in the emergency room.
Police say there is no indication that both cases were connected.
