The warm weather continues, and so do the thunderstorms - at least for now. A round of strong and severe thunderstorms are moving through the state this evening.
After a nice break with sunshine, the next storm started moving our way today. Clouds and spotty showers came in with the first part of it, but this is just the beginning.
The storm that caused all of our rain and severe weather is still hanging around but has moved up over New England. That's far enough that we saw a lot of sunshine today and temperatures rose up to 82 degrees.
The National Weather Service is still looking into whether any actual tornadoes touched down in Maryland on Thursday. The other problem we saw was flash flooding.

Even though there were some showers today, they held again until late in the day. That allowed for a lot of sunshine most of the day and the high to climb to 71 degrees. Although there is no huge storm coming our way tomorrow, the main storm track (jetstream) is still running just over Maryland.
The warm front got stuck over Maryland today. Not only did it bring in rain today, it destroyed our forecasted high temperature.
