A shooting investigation involving a sheriff's deputy is underway in Kaufman County.
Deputies were serving a warrant on Twin Oaks Drive near Denton Highway, just north of North Loop 820.
The deadly shooting happened in the early hours of June 9, 2021.
Both incidents happened on Wednesday, Jan. 15. One suspect was killed and the other was arrested.
Fort Worth Police Chief Neil Noakes held a briefing on Friday, providing new information about a deadly encounter between officers and a man with knives, as well as a separate standoff involving a suspect with a handgun.
It happened the evening of Jan. 10 at a CashMax on Pioneer Parkway.

The 28-year-old police officer had only started serving the Terrell community as a police officer in July.
A 25-year-old man from Mississippi has been arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of Terrell Police Officer Jacob Candanoza, according to the Van Zandt County Sheriff's Office.
"It's not a cliche to say we lost a good one. He was a good one."
Greenville police said this is the first line of duty death for the department in over 100 years.
Neither the officer nor the suspect's conditions are known, but Greenville police said both are receiving medical attention. The shooting took place Monday night around 8 p.m.
The Texas Rangers will lead the investigation into this officer-involved shooting.
"Officer Martin did not display a badge or otherwise identify himself as a law enforcement officer."
A police spokesman said two officers fired their weapons, but it was not immediately clear if the man was fatally shot by officers or if he fatally shot himself.
Police were called just before 12:30 p.m. about a reckless driver, driving in the wrong direction in the area of Lone Star and Highway 287.
According to a GoFundMe post by her family, David faces months of outpatient care, including surgery.
Martin was suspended for 10 days but kept his job, while Craig sued the city for excessive force.
