Chicago police issue alert of several South Side burglaries
Police said two men damaged the front or rear door frame of a residential building until they gained access.

The incident happened inside a train car on April 27, around 9:40 p.m., in the 100 block of West 35th Street.
Marshun Fort, 19, and Kayne Hunt, 22, were arrested by the Citywide Robbery Task Force on Friday in the 2100 block of West Bowler Street just after 5 p.m.
Authorities said three men walked in and demanded money while implying they had handguns.
Carl Price, 27, was arrested by Chicago police officers around 11:08 a.m. in the 7400 block of South Coles Avenue.
Chicago police said officers and fire crews responded to a service call where the victim stumbled and fell onto the tracks as the train was arriving at the station.
Police said the teen was identified as the suspect who robbed the girl at gunpoint in the 300 block of West 75th Street.
The ages of the victims range from 16 to 51.
Chicago police said officers responded to a call at the location and found the man near the sidewalk with injuries to the head and face area.
All three were arrested on Wednesday in the 3500 block of West Jackson Boulevard and the 500 block of South Millard Avenue, respectively, police said.
